Black and white photographic negative, portrait of a woman and a baby. The woman is posed holding a baby and sitting on what appears to be a chair covered by a blanket. She is dressed in a light-colored blouse and a dark-colored skirt. The baby is wearing a light-colored dress with light-colored socks and shoes. A hand, holding an unidentified object, is visible in the foreground blocking the view of the baby. Original envelope housing the negative was labeled "Mary Tate." An additional handwritten note on the envelope reads, "#2 #5 North West." Photograph is undated, c. 1940s
