The small child is posed sitting on a upholstered stool wearing a romper with a light-colored shirt, light-colored socks, and dark-colored shoes. Original envelope housing the negative was labeled "Jerome and Ermine Ford." An additional handwritten note on the envelope reads, "235 N. Payne St." Photograph is undated, c. 1940s
