Scope and content:

Black and white photographic negative, portrait of two young women. The two young women are formally dressed posed on a sofa sitting back-to-back with their arms wrapped around their knees. The young woman on the left is wearing a dark-colored patterned blouse, a long, dark-colored satin skirt, and a ring. The young woman on the right is wearing a long, satin dress and earrings. Original envelope housing the negative was labeled "Saretta Brown." An additional handwritten note on the envelope reads, "#11, Seminary Va." Photograph is undated, c. 1940s
