Black and white photographic negative, portrait of a young woman. The young woman is posed seated on a sofa with her arms wrapped around her knees. She is dressed in a light-colored outfit; a pleated skirt, a vest, and a short sleeved blouse. The young woman is wearing earrings, a watch, and dark-colored dress shoes. Original envelope housing the negative was labeled "Saretta Brown." An additional handwritten note on the envelope reads, "#11, Seminary Va." Photograph is undated, c. 1940s
