The man appears to be in someone's living room, posed wearing a suit jacket, a striped dress shirt, and a patterned tie with a collar pin and chain. Original envelope housing the negative was labeled "William Bratton." An additional handwritten note on the envelope reads, "235 North Pain." Photograph is undated, c. 1940s
