Scope and content:

Black and white photographic negative, portrait of a woman holding a baby. The woman appears to be in someone's home, posed sitting in an armchair with a baby in her lap. The woman is wearing a dark, patterned dress and a ring, with a corsage pinned to her dress and flowers in her hair. The baby is wearing a light-colored outfit and jacket, light-colored socks, and dark-colored walking shoes. Original envelope housing the negative was labeled "Mimie Allen." An additional handwritten note on the envelope reads, "Baby." Photograph is undated, c. 1940s
