Award for George E. Lee from the Treasury Department

Scope and content:

Albert Gallaton Award granted to George E. Lee by the United States Treasury Department. The page is a yellowed manilla color, and in the center of the page, the Treasury Department's seal appears in a darker yellow. The words "United States Treasury Department" appear at the head of the page in a blackletter typeface. Beneath this heading is an engraving of Albert Gallatin's head and shoulders and, in a cursive typeface, an explanation that the award recognizes Lee's years-long term of service for the Treasury. The bottom of the page bears the signature of Douglas Dillon, then Secretary of the Treasury Department. Award is dated 6 September 1962
