Scope and content:

A complete update to the 1898 catalog, the 1906 retained the same basic classification system apart from the addition of 3 new sub-classes. It also includes a chart of subscription prices for the library at the front giving lengths of time and numbers of books and a large number of advertisements from local businesses.

The classification is identical to the 1898 except for the added subheadings of Cuba, Japan, and Korea. There is an alphabetical index of subjects.
