Civil War related records include discharge (1865), letter from WV Adjutant General awarding medal to Williams (1867), and pension records (ca. 1880-1905). There is also a blank enlistment form for Union volunteers. There is personal correspondence (1888-1907). Family business papers include lease agreements with Pittsburgh Coal, Coke and Gas Company (1897) and South Penn Oil Company (1902), tax records, and other material (ca. 1870-1905).
