Roden Berkeley Wriothesley Noel was an English poet born on August 27, 1834 in England, United Kingdom. He attened Trinity College, Cambride, where he graducated in 1858. He published books of verse such as "Behind the Veil and other Poems" (1863), "The Red Flag" (1872) and "A Little Child's Monument" (1881) Noel died on May 26, 1894 in Mainz, Germany.

16 letters written by the English poet, Roden Berkeley Wriothesley. The letters give thanks and praise to Noel for his publishings and discuss social events. Correspondents include Florence Baker, Dean of St. Paul Richard William Church (1815-1890), poet and critic W.J. Courthope (1842-1917), F.W.Farrar, Andrew Dukes, William Knight, W.E.H. Lecky and Anna M. Howitt. Three news clippings relating to Roden Noel are also included in the collection.
