8.5" x11" paper poster with red lettering: "U.K.A. Rally Sun. Sept. 28, 1969 3. P.M. Williamsburg, VA. Take Hwy. 31 South To Hwy. 681 Turn Left Follow Red Arrows Communism Exposed. Come Hear The Truth - Several good Speakers WHITE PUBLIC INVITED." The left side of the poster is printed downward "KKKK."

This poster was removed from a telephone pole at the intersection of Richmond Road and "whatever street was the cross street to the old shopping center" in Williamsburg, VA in 1969 by Larry C. Gilbert (Class of 1972).

His description of this is as follows: "It was the start of my second year at W & M and I was already deeply conflicted about the sustained racism and bigotry I had already experienced. It's not that I hadn't experienced racism growing up outside Philadelphia, but Williamsburg displayed a far more virulent and dangerous version. I took the poster so others wouldn't see it and kept it for 50 plus years as a reminder of the need to continually and actively fight racism."
 </scopecontent>
