    <head>Administrative History:</head>
<p>Caskie Stinnett graduated from William and Mary in 1932. After graduation, he served as a newspaper reporter in Stauton, Virginia before joining the Curtis Publishing Company. He then became travel editor and then editor-in-chief of <emph render="italic">Holiday Magazine</emph>. He was a distinguished writer and editor, with articles appearing in <emph render="italic">Atlantic Monthly</emph>, <emph render="italic">Travel &amp; Leisure</emph>, <emph render="italic">The Saturday Evening Post</emph>, and <emph render="italic">The Ladies' Home Journal</emph>. Stinnett passed away in 1998.</p>  </bioghist>

<p>This collection is arranged in several different boxes. The first two boxes include manuscripts of the works, "Back to Abnormal," and "Out of the Red." The third box includes literary reviews and articles.  The fourth box is comprised of a myriad of magazine manuscripts.  The last box includes certificates and scrapbooks relating to Stinnett.</p>  </arrangement>

    <head>Scope and Contents</head>
<p>The papers of Harry Caskie Stinnett, William and Mary class of 1932, include a variety of different materials.  Included are two literary manuscripts of Stinnett's books, "Back to Abnormal" and "Out of the Red."  Each manuscript contains handwritten edits.  Additions to the collection include a multitude of magazine manuscripts.  Many of the manuscripts detail Stinnett's adventures abroad.  Other items include a scrapbook filled of newspaper and magazine clippings, photographs, book reviews, and Stinnett's baptismal and confirmation certificates.</p>  </scopecontent>
