Scope and Contents

Diaries, 1934-1939, of Barbara Booth of Rochester, New York. The first volume is an autograph and photograph album, with photographs of friends, and notes written to Booth. In the volume Booth states that she goes to Monroe High School.

The second volume is a diary, 1935-1939, in which she records her daily life, activities she does with her friends, dances and other social events that she attends, and other activities. In the later entries she mentions her marriage to a man named Bud and the birth of their first child.

In both volumes, there are portions that are written in Gregg shorthand.
 </scopecontent>
