    <head>Scope and Contents</head>
<p>Account book, 1847-1866, of Edward C. Thurston from Fall River, Massachusetts for goods purchased and sold. The bulk of the entries in the book are made up of names to whom Thurston paid money. There are several loose pieces of paper at the end of the volume, including more accounts and a letter to Thurston to serve on jury duty in 1864.</p>  </scopecontent>
