Baggage entry for 13 packages containing personal effects of John Randolph of "Roanoke." March 22, 1832. John Randolph to his half-brother, Henry St. George Tucker. His inability to write earlier and his ill behavior were due to illness; if Henry St. George cannot aid him, he should let him close, to die; intends to send Griffin for necessaries and all his things from London; tell J.P. Taylor not to let wagons come without Randolph's things; send $100 in specie and $500 in small notes; he writes how because he expects to be "in a state of insensibility" the next day. April 5, 1832.
