    <head>Historical Note:</head>
<p>The Kilburn Brothers owned a stereography business in Littleton, New Hampshire. Their business began the same time the Mt. Washington Railroad was being built and by 1869, the year the railroad was completed, the Kilburn's Littleton factory was producing twelve hundred photographic cards daily and had become one of the largest such operations in the nation.
