The records of the Department of Modern Languages and Literature at the College of William and Mary include reports, programs, lecture announcements, selected meeting minutes, proposals, fliers, research proposals from the Hispanic Studies curriculum, and other material documenting the department. It also includes a calendar from the Confucius Institute.
This series holds published material including reports, American Pilgrim magazine, fliers, lecture announcements, a faculty guide, a manual of procedures and policies, Confucius Institute fliers, and other material from the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary that were previously part of the University Archives Publications Collection.

This accession contains publications collected by Prof. Robert Welch including the following: flyers for a presentation discussing the Summer in France program by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures; a booklet produced by the William and Mary Student Association in 1970 of evaluations for courses taught at the College; and a program for the symposium "Encountering Foreign Cultures Through Technology" that was held at the College of William and Mary in 1994.
