         and undated. Also present is Thompson's Architecture Diploma,
         a photograph of a building, and watercolor of a residence
         designed by Thompson. Thompson was the architect for the
         Seventy-first Regiment Armory in New York City, the Jamaica
         New York Children's Courthouse, homes in the Jamaica Estates
         area, and the old Queens Borough Hall on Hunters Point Avenue,
         Long Island.</abstract>

      <head>Scope and Content Information</head>
      <p>This collection chiefly consists of the architectural

         ([1871?]-1952), ca. 30 items, ca. 1906-1947, and undated. Also

         Thompson was the architect for the Seventy-first Regiment
         Armory in New York City, the Jamaica New York Children's

         was born in Ireland and immigrated to the United States when
         he was seventeen, married in 1900, and had three sons and one
         daughter, Mrs. William Uzzell (Tommie), presently of
         Charlottesville, Virginia.</p>
