This collection was transferred from Sara Lee Barnes in the Library Development Office to the Small Special Collections Library at the University of Virginia Library on 21 June 2019.

Appointments must be made in advance to use media formats such as LPs, audiotapes, videotapes, films, CDs, and DVDs held by Special Collections. In most cases, materials must be reformatted before they can be accessed, sometimes at the researcher's expense. Access cannot be guaranteed unless prior arrangements have been made.

The magazines include The Virginia Spectator, Crust Magazine, Libel Magazine, and UVA Athletic News.

In addition to athletics there are articles about faculty, alumni, and Easters parties mostly from 1946-1952.
