<p>This collection consists of one scrapbook (1922-1926) compiled by Cadet James N. Bell, VMI Class of 1926. The scrapbook includes photographs of cadet life, classmates, and buildings, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia.</p>  </scopecontent>

    <head>Biographical / Historical</head>
<p>James Nichol Bell, Jr. was born in 1904 in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated from VMI in 1926. During World War II he was a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Navy. After the War he was a banker. Bell died in 1977.</p>  </bioghist>
