This collection consists of correspondence (8 letters; dated 1894-1895) from Erasmus G. Hinton to his father. Harley R. Hinton (VMI Class of 1896), the writer's twin brother, is frequently mentioned. Biographical / Historical

Erasmus Gill Hinton was born in 1876 in Reelsville, Indiana. He graduated VMI in 1896 and went on to become a businessman in Richmond, Virginia. He died in 1946.
