      <p>Cora Corene Howser (1876-1953) was the daughter of John Alexander Caylor (1851-1921) and Priscilla Ann LeFevre Caylor (1847- 1933).  On 27 January 1897, Cora married William Henry Howser (1872-1947), a farmer.  William Howser, the son of William Christopher Howser (1837-1903) and Linnie Ellen Havener (1844 -1900), died 13 January 1947 leaving his estate to his wife, Cora.  Cora died on 2 August 1953. </p> </bioghist>

      <head>Scope and Content
</head>
      <p>Cora C. Howser Broadside is an advertisement for the public auction of real estate and personal property of the late Cora C. Howser in Ashburn, Virginia on 24 July 1954.  The broadside includes descriptions for the personal property and real estate, names of the Late Cora C. Howser executor and executrix, auctioneer and clerk, and terms of sale of all property.  The personal property included in auction were furniture, appliances, dinnerware, kitchen utensils, bedding, and garden tools.  The real estate for auction was a 3 ¼ acres parcel with a twelve room house, small barn, and storage house.  The real estate description includes information from the 7 December 1943 deed when William H. and Cora C. Howser purchase the property. </p>
