<p>"The Negro" Lithograph, circa 1850-1860, is printed on a 4 ½ x 6 ¾ inch cream-colored lithograph card. The lithograph, entitled "The Negro," portrays a young man of African descent dressed in a loose fitting white shirt; his face is solemn. The title is also handwritten at the top of the lithograph.</p>  </scopecontent>
