The processing, arrangement, and description of the Carrie Gudheim Spear Women's Basketball Jersey was completed in June 2025.
Carrie Gudheim Spear graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1928. She was a member of the first women's basketball team at VPI in 1926.
Maroon sweater vest with orange trim with "Va Tech" in orange on front. Worn by members of the first Women's Basketball Team at Virginia Tech in 1926. A tag on the inside of the collar reads "The Sutcliffe Co. LOUISVILLE, KY." The condition is fair, the sweater vest has moth holes and discoloration.
