The processing, arrangement, and description of the Lane Hall / Barracks No. 1 Plaque was completed in June 2025.
This plaque was made by Richard C. Jennelle using materials from the Lane Hall cupola in 1996. The materials for the plaque are from 1888 when the building was known as "Barracks No. 1."
This collection includes a wooden plaque that reads "1888 VPI LANE HALL VA TECH" with a nail glued on to the bottom left.
