    <abstract id="aspace_b6e15f3b87696b8b4be0ff42cc7c6882" label="Abstract">This collection consists of a V.P.I. belt buckle and a Christian symbol medallion. 

The belt buckle is a rectangular shape with horizontal stripes. In the center of the buckle is a circular logo with the V.P.I. seal. Surrounding the seal in curved text is "VIRGINIA POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE" AND "UT PROSIM" right below the seal. A half circle floral motif curves from the bottom of the buckle. Small triangle cut outs on either side of the seal. Pin closure system on the back of the buckle. 

The medallion has two crossing branches below a small circular logo. Inside the logo is a triangle with the words " SPIRIT MIND BODY." The back of the medallion reads "INTL CO PATD SEPT. 12 1905 STERLING M." There are two small jump rings interlocked at the top of the medallion.</abstract>

    <head>Biographical Note </head>
<p>Robert K. Allison Jr. attended V.P.I. from 1937-1941 and majored in Animal Husbandry. He was orginally from Maysville, Kentucky and later returned to pursure farming.</p>  </bioghist>
