    <head>Biographical Note</head>
<p>Lieutenant Colonel Hubbard Plunkett (1921-1997) was a 1942 graduate of VPI and served in the military until his retirement in 1972. He was married to Frances Vivian Kash Plunkett (1921-1997) for 54 years and their children include Vivian Gay and Frances Lynn, all of whom attented Virginia Tech.
