The Anne H. Price Yates Papers were donated to Special Collections in 1989 and 2005.
The processing, arrangement and description of the Anne H. Price Yates Papers commenced and was compleeted in 2003. Additional materials, donated in 2005 and comprised largely of correspondence to William Conway Price, were incorporated into the collection in 2009.
Anne Hayden Price Yates, Price family historian, was born in Trenton, New Jersey in 1939, to William Conway Price (born 1906) and Eleanor Franklin Hayden (1908-1973). She married James Stanley Savage and had one daughter, Eleanor. She later married Patrick Audley Yates, with whom she had a son, Adam.
Yates received her education in the American School in Manila, Philippines and earned an associate of arts degree from Florida State University. She later attended the University of Florida. In addition to being the author of

The Anne H. Price Yates Papers consist of materials gathered by Yates and her father, William Conway Price, while researching the Price, Harless and related families preparatory to compiling the book
The collection is arranged by material type in the following categories: correspondence, Harless family group records, charts, printed materials, and documents and notes. The incoming correspondence and genealogical charts are organized alphabetically while outgoing correspondence has been organized chronologically.
