E.C. Wiley appears listed as a freshman in the 1886/1887 VAMC catalog. He does not appear in subsequent years. His name appears in the
The collection includes a letter to E.C. Wiley (1904), a letter and receipt to Mrs. Wiley (1907), and two pieces of letterhead from Wiley's business used as scratch paper for calculations.
The first letter to Wiley comes from W. T. Adams of the W.T. Adams Machine Company in Mississippi. Although it seems to include a job offer, the letter does not explain the details. The second letter, written to Mrs. Wiley, concerns her return of a fox neckpiece to E. Albrecht and Son in Minnesota.
