In 1987 The Board for Professional Soil Scientists was created to certify professional soil scientist for the "preservation of health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Virginia". The code of Virginia in 2004 reflects the inclusion and addition of Wetland Professionals in the regulatory requirements for Professional Soil Scientists. In 2012, the Board was merged with the Board for Geologists to create the Board for Professional Soil Scientists, Wetland Professionals, and Geologists

Includes official board minutes, as well as draft minutes, committee meeting minutes, agendas and other meeting materials. May also include informal fact finding hearing minutes, correspondence, financial statements, legislation, regulations, reports and resolutions.
