Mecklenburg County (Va.) List of Negroes Hired Out of the Estate of L. Burwell, 1802. Consists of a list documenting the hiring out of 26 slaves from the estate of L. Burwell, 1802 December 30, including the names of the slaves hired, the individuals or estates hiring the slaves, and the amount charged. The list also includes livestock and implements hired out.
