Edwin L. Dooley, Jr., former Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and Secretary to the Board of Visitors, is also a historian who has studied Francis H. Smith in depth. A yearly compilation of faculty publications, created by the Dean's Office; after 2002 assembled in volumes by academic year. Later years include lists of published books, copies of scholarly articles, and lists of presentations.
