These items measure ca. 16 in. x 20 in. each. There is also an oval colorized crayon portrait of Susan Minnie Weltner (b. 1867, d. 1948).","The crayon portrait was popular in the period ca. 1860 to 1900. They were created by enlarging a photograph onto drawing paper with a weak photographic emulsion in order to produce a faint image.
