It was first accredited by the American Bar Association in 1923 and has retained its accreditation status since. The college was originally a fixture of the Downtown Campus, being housed first in Woodburn Hall and later in Colson Hall, but it has been located on the Evansdale Campus since the completion of the COL building in 1975.
