McAllister (1868-1888) 29 November 1887.  He married Martha Barnett in 1893 and they had 4 children including Frank H. Hammond, Jr.  Hammond, Sr., died 23 November 1927 at United Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington.\n","Frank H. Hammond, Jr., was born 9 March 1901 in Covington.  Hammond attended public schools, Augusta Military Academy, and the University of Virginia.  Like his uncle, C. P.
