The face of the coin bares the so called \"Coronet\" version of Lady Liberty, which had just been updated in 1839 to make the face appear more youthful. The reveerse bares the words ONE CENT framed by a wreath of wheat, which is bordered by the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. 28mm. The coin is in very fine condition and nearly all of the text is still visible. Gift of Chris Vinyard. An image is available at https://www.flickr.com/photos/scrc/5766117044/.
