A box-level inventory of the collection had been created following its donation in 1982, and this inventory was used in creating an earlier finding aid in January, 2011.","This collection contains the professional papers of Wilson E. Schmidt, a professor of economics at Virginia Tech from 1966 to 1981 (department chair, 1966-1977), U. S.
