Williamson. He graduated from VMI in 1884 and shortly thereafter began a distinguished career in civil engineering. Most notably, he served as Division Engineer of the Pacific Division of Panama Canal from 1907 to 1914. Williamson was responsible for wet and dry excavation of the Pedro Miguel and Miraflores Locks. He also helped design and oversaw construction of the Pacific Terminal docks, and the water supply, sewers, roads, and streets for the towns of the division. During World War I he served as a Colonel with the United Army Engineers in France. Williamson died in 1939 in Lexington.","The Sydney B. The bulk of these papers document Williamson's engineering assignments in Panama, South America, and the United States, and his service on the Interoceanic Canal Board. Wilson Corson had five sisters. Corson attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1895. Corson married Anne Mason \"Annie\" White on April 23, 1907. \u003c/p\u003e\n","\u003cp\u003eBlake Wilson Corson, Jr., was born to Blake Wilson Corson, Sr. (1874-1962) and Anne Mason Corson (1874-1968) on October 1, 1908, in Henrico, Virginia. Corson had two youngers sisters Juidith Parker (born July 20, 1911) and Georgina White (born June 26, 1915). Blake W. Corson, Jr., married Shirley Huxter (1921-2014) on December 6, 1947. They had one daughter.\u003c/p\u003e\n","\u003cp\u003eCorson, Sr., died in 1962, and Anne Corson died in 1968. They were buried together at Grace Episcopal Church.\u003c/p\u003e\n","\u003cp\u003eBlake W. Corson, Jr., died at 83 on December 23, 1991. He was survived by his wife and daughter. Corson was burried in Peninsula Memorial Park Newport News.
