Founded by Earlene and Ernest Morris in 1965, The Morris Development Center for Infants and Toddlers was a Black-owned daycare located in the historically African American Bagley neighborhood in Detroit.  In 1965, the center was the only daycare in Michigan licensed to care for infants and toddlers.
