Martha was a school teacher in California for 35 years and impacted many students' lives. She was a charter member of Grace Presbyterian Church and was involved with the Rockbridge Historical Society and the Genealogical Society. She enjoyed doing genealogical research for people throughout the United States. Martha was also a generous contributor to many community services.
