Five letters are written by Mrs. Teackle, and one is addressed to Mrs. Teackle from William Wirt, esquire. In the letters Mrs. Teackle mainly discusses the hardships of her family after her husband, Mr. Teackle, was sent to prison in Baltimore, the circumstances surrounding his imprisonment and those responsible for it, and the actions and support of their family friends.
